DR ATUL MANOCHA

Dr Atul graduated in 2002 in New Delhi, India. He has trained and worked in the UK for 10 years. He is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK and Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in Australia.

He has been practicing as a GP in Perth for last 6 years. He enjoys going to the gym, bike riding, tracking and other outdoor activities. He also follows cricket and soccer.
Dr Atul can speak English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.

DR PRASANTHI RAO
MBBS, DCH, DD, FRACGP,Adv Cert Aesthetic Medicine.
Female General Practitioner

Dr Rao has been working at Maddington Doctors Practice since 2015. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in Women’s Health, Menstrual management, Sexual Health, Family Planning including Implanon – Insertion & Removal, Paediatrics, Chronic Disease such as Diabetes, Cosmetic medicine and Mental Health.

Dr Rao’s specialist qualifications include a Fellowship of the Royal
Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Diploma in Child Health (DCH), Diploma in Dermatology (DD) and Adv Cert in Aesthetic Medicine.

Dr Prasanthi loves caring for patients with a strong focus on preventative and lifestyle medicine. Outside of GP practice, she enjoys travelling, watching movies and spending time with her family.

DR SONALI BAPAT
Female General Practitioner

Dr Sonali Bapat graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery from B. J. Medical College in 1994. She obtained a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2018.

Dr Bapat provides optimal services to all her clients and is a competent doctor in Maddington. She specialises in all facets of General Practice and enjoys helping patients with their health needs.

Alongside English, Dr Sonali Bapat speaks Marathi and Hindi fluently.

Dr Patrick Pong
MBBS (WA)

Dr Patrick has recently relocated his practice from Gosnells and joined the team at Maddington Doctors Practice!

Dr Patrick is an experienced General Practitioner and works Monday – Friday. His interests include all aspects of General Medicine and he happily bulk-bills patients under 16yrs and those with a valid Health care or pension concession card.

Dr Harmeet Singh
MBBS, FRACGP, SCOPE Certified in Obesity Management

Dr. Harmeet Singh is a Specialist GP and a trained Obesity Doctor. He has over 20 years’ experience of working in different healthcare settings. In 2019, he was selected as a finalist at Western Australia Country Doctors Awards.

His special interests include:
– OBESITY MEDICINE: He uses a kind, evidence-based approach to help people with obesity / pre-obesity/ overweight lose weight and achieve sustainable goals.
– Prevention and management of Metabolic Diseases, including:
– Diabetes and pre-diabetes
– Hypertension
– Cholesterol/ Lipid disorders
– Depression/ Anxiety

Dr. Singh is particularly passionate about reversing/ preventing metabolic syndrome.

Dr. Singh is an avid reader, and is currently researching for a new,
ground-breaking book on sustainable weight loss.

Dr. Navkiran Kaur

Dr. Navkiran Kaur is a Fellowship-trained Specialist GP with specific interest in:
Preventive Cardiology & Lifestyle Medicine

She uses an evidence-based approach to prevention & management of conditions like:

– Cardiovascular diseases
– Metabolic Syndrome
– Pre-diabetes & Diabetes
– Obesity & Overweight
– Thyroid disorders
– PCOS
– Other lifestyle-related chronic conditions

She also has a special interest in women’s health, and is a certified MS-2 Step provider for Medical Termination of Pregnancy.

Dr. Kaur speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and some Urdu.

Dr Safiullah Ansari

FRACGP

Dr Ansari is a male GP. He graduated from Pakistan with primary surgical
training. He gained experience in General Practice in Pakistan & Australia.
Since moving to Australia in 2007.

Dr Ansari has extensively worked in rural WA and is thoroughly enriched in
rural and remote medicine. Dr Ansari has special interests in surgical
procedures, men’s health, chronic disease management & skin checks and skin
cancer excisions. He also is fluent in Urdu.
